Made in Italy, the design of this classic roll neck is inspired by the iconic basketweave sweater worn by Ernest Shackleton throughout the Endurance expedition of 1914-17. It is crafted in Italy from some of the softest and most sought-after lambswool on earth, Super Geelong. This 100% natural fibre is produced from a unique breed of Australian sheep and has a softness and warmth that rivals that of cashmere. Even those who would not usually favour a roll-neck have found this yarn to be a revelation- not the least bit scratchy on the neck and a consistent warmth throughout.
